When I was in the USA a few years ago, I noticed that "German Engineering" is admired there.

In Maths, all you need to do is set up the right equation and then solve it without miscalculating.

Don't be afraid of Physics. With F = m * a, you will get pretty far.

It's true that a computer can't feel anything and can't think for itself. But it can sort something very quickly. That's why it's useful in life to know that a computer mouse doesn't bite and how to program an algorithm.

Sometimes my pupils get suddenly ill 5 minutes before a scheduled tutoring session. That's why there is a quiz about proper nutrition on the right.

Consciousness should be a major in school, but it's not. In the quiz on the right, there are some questions about this topic.

Chess is good for spatial awareness. The problems on the right are from a time when I was still giving chess lessons in elementary school.

Appointments and Cancellation Policy

The process of making an appointment is as follows:

1. You send me your exercises and your associated theory script.
2. If I am familiar with exercises like these, I will let you know and you can transfer the money in advance (via Paypal with the "Send money to friends" option*). In the subject line, please include your name and your appointment availability, for example something like "Math tutoring Elif free on Wed 1st Nov from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m or Saturday 1st Dec between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. or Sunday all day"
3. After your payment, I will give you an appointment confirmation according to your preferences (if it suits me) or I will suggest 2-3 appointments for the next few days
4. We are looking forward to our meeting and you may send any missing or additional exercises/lecture notes.

!!!Attention!!! !!!Cancellation conditions!!!

In case of a cancellation (before the start of the tutoring), technical problems (e.g. unstable internet for more than 10 minutes) or a delay of more than 10 minutes on your part, the fee is due and I am not obligated to wait any longer - regardless of the duration of the booked appointment.

In the event of short-term cancellations or an internet failure on my part, you will receive an alternative appointment or a refund.

*Without the "Send money to a friend" option, there is a 2 euro fee for Paypal.

From the exercises that you send me, we choose the best ones. For explanations I use sketches, words, general rules and theorems (from your script), colors, formulas, examples and in the end, the task will explain itself through its solution and its interpretation in the factual context and its validation.

For the online tutoring, I use Skype or Zoom. If you have preferences, you can mention them. In addition, I use the Miro-Online-Whiteboard, which we can use to collaborate. A full whiteboard would look like this: Example-Whiteboard

I was born in 1993 as the son of an electrical engineer and a nutritionist. I was also deeply influenced by my grandfather, who partially lived on home-grown vegetables and partially on dandelions in order to be able to pass on more money to his grandchildren for their studies.
I also learned a lot from my aunt and uncle, who - because they were history and language teachers - always had a lot of entertaining stories to tell.
I, myself, am interested in everything to do with Maths, Science, Technology, Language and Psychology, the latter much to the delight of my psychiatrist who makes a fortune from listening to me.
To ensure that the mind is always fresh and ready to learn new, interesting things, I take a lot of walks in the forest and I do Yoga and sport and I recommend this to you as well, especially before an exam.
